And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.

The Trustee Ministry serves as the legal representatives in all business and financial transactions related to the St. James Baptist Church. The Trustees maintain an up-to-date inventory of all church property as well as financial records on church property. The Trustees are responsible for opening the church before services and meetings and locking the facility at the conclusion of all activities. The Trustee Ministry at SJBC is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of SJBC buildings, facilities, and church grounds. The members of the SJBC Trustees shall faithfully attend the regular services in the church, conduct a private devotional service and lead a lifestyle that is consistent with the gospel.
