The mission of the St. James Baptist Church Youth and Young Adult Ministry is to connect, engage, and support all youth and their families as their faith grows in Jesus Christ.

The St. James Baptist Church Youth and Young Adult Ministry strives to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. We also strive to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and service of the Christian community. Our ministry endeavors to nurture the personal and spiritual growth of all.

Youth Sunday at SJBC is the 4th Sunday of each month. On Youth Sunday the Youth and Young Adult ministry actively participates in various aspects of the worship service at St. James Baptist Church. Our Youth and Young adults must learn and experience now how to work and commit themselves in service to the Lord. The young adult and youth choirs rehearse monthly on the Thursday and Saturday prior to the 4th Sunday.
